UOIT is pleased to announce that we will host the Royal Society of Canada’s Romanowski Lecture Series in Environmental Science Solutions featuring Dr. John P. Giesy, Professor, University of Saskatchewan.

On September 17, Dr. John Giesy will be visiting UOIT to present his lecture Toxicological Evaluation of Perfluorooctane (Pfos) in the Environment: Anatomy of an Environmental Issue. The presentation will take place in room UA1140 in the Science Building commencing at 5:15. (Please be seated prior to 5:15.) A light reception will precede the lecture from 4:30 – 5:15 pm in the Founding Deans Atrium. This is a free event that is open to students, Faculty and the general public.
